Soft Foundation treatment method of HLS


The preloading method refers to preloading on the site (soil, sand, stone, etc.). After construction load is applied on the soft soil foundation, the pore water in the soft soil will be discharged through by the PVD, with the hydrostatic pressure gradually dissipate, it will occur the settlement deformation of the soft foundation, and the foundation is gradually consolidated, and the strength is gradually increased, which makes the soil of the foundation compacted, settlement and consolidated, as well as reducing the post-settlement of the building foundation and improving the bearing capacity of the foundation. The preloading load exceeds the soft ground engineering load, which is called over preloading; the preloading load is equal to the soft ground engineering load.


Technical Characteristic of Surcharge Pre-loading

1. It is effective to each kind of soft and weak foundation, which is convenient to operate, include the material application and machine application.

2.  It can be applied to the loose schedule.

Vacuum Prealoding

The vacuum preloading method is to insert vertical drainage channels (such as sand wells, bagged sand wells or PVD, etc.) To cover a membrane on the  top of the soil layer, and to engage the gas exhaust from the PVD which is covered by the Geo-membrane, and makes the sand layer become the Vacuum Condition, and discharge the water from the soil, and to increase the effective stress of the clay foundation, and make soft foundation pre-consolidation, which can reduce the post-settlement after construction.

Technical Characteristic of Vacuum Prealoding

1. Save vacuum pre-compression materials and reduce project cost.

2. Accelerate Consolidation and shorten construction period. During the vacuum preloading operation, the ground will not be deformed. As long as the deformation is compressed, it will not cause ground instability. Therefore, there is no need to control the loading rate during construction. The load can be applied quickly at a time, which can be reinforced faster and the shorten the construction period.

3. The vacuum preloading construction is simple. Vacuum preloading does not need to use a number of construction machinery when loading, the construction disturbance is small, and construction accidents are not easy to occur. The construction machinery and equipment are simple, the construction is convenient, and the work efficiency is high. It is suitable for large-scale ground reinforcement. The effect of reinforcement is also quite good.

4. Deeper reinforcement depth. For soft soils, well-point dewatering is also used to strengthen ramming construction. The effect of vacuum preloading on deep consolidation is more significant than that of well-point dewatering.

5. There is no need for a large amount of stacked materials, which can avoid the transportation tension, turnover difficulties and construction interference caused by the material being transported in and out; there is no noise, no vibration, and no environmental pollution during the construction.微信截图_20200814041955
